Located in Spring, TX, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to supporting pregnant women, new mothers, and young children up to age 5 who are facing nutritional risks. We provide essential food assistance, including nutritious foods that supplement diets, while offering valuable nutrition education and promoting breastfeeding. Additionally, our services include referrals to health care and social services, helping families access the resources they need to thrive. At Harris County Public Health, we believe that good nutrition is critical from pregnancy onward for fostering healthy development and strong lives. Our WIC program is accessible to a wide range of families; if you participate in Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP, you likely meet the income eligibility guidelines. Even if you do not qualify for these programs, you may still be eligible based on your household income. Caregivers of children aged 5 and under are also welcome to enroll. We invite you to visit our centers, open Monday through Friday and Saturdays by appointment, to learn more about how we can support you. Please ensure you have the required documentation for your visit.
