Groceries to Go Program

In San Marcos, TX, the Groceries to Go Program is dedicated to providing essential grocery shopping assistance to seniors, ensuring they have access to nutritious food and necessary supplies. Our caring volunteers work hand-in-hand with seniors who, while capable of cooking for themselves, face challenges in securing reliable transportation and support for grocery shopping. Whether it's helping to create a shopping list, providing transport to and from the grocery store, or shopping on behalf of clients who may be mobility impaired, our program emphasizes dignity and independence. Additionally, our volunteers can assist with prescription pickups when needed, making it easier for seniors to manage their health and wellbeing. While we have temporarily paused taking new clients due to COVID-19, we remain committed to serving our existing clients, adapting our delivery protocols to ensure safety and social distancing during this time.
