MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in San Benito, TX, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through personalized weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who seeks care at VA facilities is screened for obesity, allowing for tailored referrals to effective weight management services that align with their individual needs. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while Veterans facing ongoing weight challenges can access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options. Participation in MOVE! begins with a conversation with your local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider, who will guide you on your path to a healthier lifestyle.
