The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in San Angelo, TX, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators focused on creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experiences, our Fellows engage in a six-month immersive program where they learn about organic food systems, community gardening, and innovative practices that enhance health and ecological literacy. By partnering with local organizations, they work on impactful initiatives such as developing direct-to-consumer programs, supporting farmers markets, and facilitating educational workshops that promote healthy food access. We believe in making our fellowship accessible, which is why we do not charge tuition. Applications are accepted until March of each year, with the hands-on experience running from May to October, enabling passionate individuals to contribute meaningfully to their communities while advocating for a sustainable food future.
