Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Rowlett, TX is dedicated to promoting the health and nutrition of vulnerable populations, including pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children at risk for nutrition-related issues. Our mission focuses on empowering mothers with essential nutrition education through individual counseling and group classes, which can also include children's sessions. We also supply monthly food benefits that help clients purchase nutritious foods such as iron-fortified infant formula, fresh produce, and dairy products. Qualifying participants include expecting mothers, those with infants under one year, and caregivers of children up to five years old, and eligibility is based on income and nutritional risk assessments.
