Good Samaritans of Garland Food Pantry, affectionately known as 'Good Sam', is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to residents in Rowlett, TX, and surrounding areas. Since 1983, we have committed ourselves to nourishing the community by offering supplemental food support five days a week, without restrictions based on zip code or financial status. Our mission is to feed, help, and serve individuals and families in need through direct food assistance and established community partnerships. Each eligible household can receive nutritious staples including fresh produce, pantry items, dairy, bread, meat, and eggs every two weeks. Additionally, we support those facing homelessness with 'To Go' bags every Tuesday, containing easy-to-eat foods such as soup, protein options, fruit cups, and snacks. Everyone is welcome at Good Sam, where our door is open to anyone seeking food resources.
