Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Rockwall, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children who face nutritional challenges. Our mission is to empower families with education and resources necessary for making informed dietary choices. Through personalized nutrition counseling, engaging classes, and comprehensive breastfeeding support—including the provision of free breast pumps—WIC equips parents with essential knowledge to foster the well-being of their children. Each month, eligible participants receive benefits that can be used to purchase healthy foods like iron-fortified formulas, cereals, and a variety of nutritious fruits and vegetables. We welcome parents, guardians, and caregivers of children under five to take part in our program, which is designed to serve those who meet specific income guidelines and nutritional needs. By connecting clients with additional health and social services, WIC strives to create a supportive community that prioritizes lasting health for families in Rockwall.
