Elizabeth Ledford

Elizabeth Ledford is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a wealth of experience in addressing body image issues, crises, self-harm, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, interpersonal issues, grief, coping skills, religious trauma, disordered eating, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. She has a particular passion for assisting clients who are navigating and processing their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Elizabeth is dedicated to supporting individuals dealing with religious trauma or related issues, bringing deep understanding and empathy to those facing personal growth amidst changing or leaving behind established belief systems, cultures, and communities. She believes that clients possess all they need to be their best selves, considering each person as the true expert on their own life. Elizabeth aims to serve as a compassionate sounding board, focused on helping individuals recognize, embrace, and appreciate their authentic selves. She is committed to nurturing understanding, which allows clients to transcend their challenges and realize their fullest potential. Elizabeth is eager to collaborate with people from diverse walks of life, encompassing all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, ages, faiths, cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions, as well as differing abilities.
