Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Plano, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, and young children at risk for nutrition-related health issues. Our primary mission is to empower families through education about proper nutrition and provide tangible support to those in need. Participants benefit from personalized nutrition counseling, engaging classes, and comprehensive breastfeeding support, including access to breast pumps at no cost. WIC issues monthly benefits that can be used to purchase nutritious foods, such as iron-fortified formula, cereals, fresh produce, and dairy products. We also connect families to vital health and social services to further bolster their well-being. Eligible clients include pregnant women, new mothers, and caregivers of children under five, provided they meet income guidelines and live in Texas. We welcome all to apply in person and encourage families to prioritize nutrition for a healthier future.
