Susan Battle

Susan Battle, a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist, understands the profound struggles faced by individuals in their 20s to 60s who think, 'I can't live like this anymore.' She knows that many grapple with fears of sleep due to nightmares, feelings of sadness, anger, hopelessness, or a sense of being out of control. In some cases, individuals may find themselves turning to substances or unhealthy behaviors, such as increasing drug use, sexual acting out, or emotional eating, in an attempt to alleviate their pain. With nearly three decades of experience, Susan has developed a specialization in treating trauma, including PTSD and Complex PTSD that arises from chronic or developmental trauma, as well as co-occurring addictions and dissociation. Since her training by the military in 2009, she has actively employed EMDR therapy, reinforcing her trauma-informed approach. Susan is committed to creating a safe space where survivors can work through their trauma and find the path to recovery. She believes that everyone deserves to live their best life, free from the debilitating symptoms of trauma, addiction, and toxic relationships rooted in family of origin issues. With her compassionate guidance, individuals can embark on their healing journey, and Susan looks forward to partnering with them along the way.
