Dawn Andre is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 20 years of experience working in Texas and Louisiana. Her extensive work encompasses supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings, including private and outpatient therapy, therapeutic foster care, psychiatric hospitalization, an academic boarding program, a Christian private school, a residential program for survivors of sex trafficking, substance abuse treatment, and prison release/re-entry programs. Dawn has specialized training in Trauma/PTSD, sexual abuse, ADHD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationships, anger/stress management, and communication. As a dedicated Christian Counselor, she employs a holistic, person-centered approach to help clients identify problematic areas in life, challenging false beliefs and thoughts that lead to unwanted behaviors. For young individuals, she emphasizes the importance of learning coping skills and redefining experiences to break free from destructive patterns.
