Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Orange, TX is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of women, infants, and children in need. Our mission is to provide vital resources that empower families through education and support, particularly focusing on pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children at risk for nutrition-related illnesses. Through individualized nutrition counseling, informative classes, and breastfeeding support, WIC helps families make informed dietary choices. Each month, participants receive benefits that can be used to purchase nutritious foods such as iron-fortified infant formula, fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, and more. WIC is committed to making a difference in the community by not only offering nutrition assistance but also by connecting clients to essential health and social services. We welcome eligible pregnant or postpartum women, as well as parents and guardians of young children, to apply in person and take the first step toward a healthier future for their families.
