Ruth Roddy is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor who has spent the past 8 years specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. With extensive experience across various treatment settings, she works compassionately with adolescents of all genders and adult women facing body image distress and a spectrum of eating disorder behaviors. Ruth's passion for women's issues—including identity, motherhood, gender roles, and societal expectations—guides her practice. Her belief is that as individuals fall in love with their lives, their focus on body image lessens. Furthermore, she brings valuable experience in working with neuro-diverse individuals, including those with autism, OCD, and ADHD. Ruth's therapeutic approach is patient and curious, aiming to empower clients to pursue their goals at their own pace. Her mission is to ensure that every client receives the support they need, and if she is unable to assist, she will do everything possible to connect them with someone who can. Ruth is committed to treating every client and family with the utmost respect for their time and experiences, continually innovating and curating care tailored to individual needs.
