Darius Lewis

Darius Lewis is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that every individual has an innate drive to become the best version of themselves. He views his role in the therapeutic relationship as one of support and guidance, especially during challenging times, empowering clients and families to move forward positively. With a person-centered approach, Darius allows individuals and families to lead the change process, emphasizing the crucial nature of the therapeutic relationship. He fosters a safe and nonjudgmental space, enabling people to navigate their deeply personal struggles with empathy and understanding. Holding a Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, Darius brings extensive experience from a diverse range of settings, including university counseling centers, inpatient behavioral health hospitals, and crisis intervention within various community environments. He works with adults, couples, and families, offering specialized support for parent training and therapy for teenagers. Recognizing that no individual exists in a vacuum, he often includes family members in the therapeutic process, acknowledging the powerful role of social and environmental influences in healing and growth.
