Alexandra Gartley

Alexandra Gartley, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, holds a Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. With a strong focus on play therapy, adolescent therapy, and family play therapy, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. During her internship at a local non-profit, Alexandra provided support to children and adolescents who faced diverse traumas, including physical and sexual abuse. Her work encompassed a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, life adjustments, and mood-related concerns, serving children, adolescents, families, and groups. With specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and EMDR, she effectively addresses PTSD and trauma-related disorders. Alexandra passionately employs the therapeutic powers of play for children aged 3 to 12, facilitating their ability to process complex emotions in a nurturing and healing environment.
