Friday FoodBasket is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income seniors and eligible disabled individuals in McKinney, TX. Our mission is to ensure that those who are on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) have access to nutritious meals. Each Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., we distribute pre-packaged bags of groceries, helping our clients combat food insecurity. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and welcome all seniors aged 60 and older who meet our criteria, regardless of their residence. Additionally, we support disabled persons referred to us through our emergency aid center, as long as they reside within our service area. At Friday FoodBasket, we believe in empowering our community by meeting urgent food needs with care and respect.
