Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program

The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Lufkin, TX, is dedicated to supporting those recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a free, comprehensive 12-month initiative. Participants will engage with six informative e-booklets designed to enhance their understanding of diabetes management, complemented by a monthly e-newsletter in both English and Spanish that provides seasonal tips and local community event information. Those who enroll and provide their phone number can join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can connect directly with ADA experts to address diabetes-related concerns, discover vital links between diabetes and heart health, and access helpful giveaways. Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to thrive while living with diabetes, promoting a healthier community one participant at a time.
