Carma Walker is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (MEd, LPC-S) with over 20 years of experience working with a diverse range of clients, including preteens, teenagers, adults, and elders. She believes that counseling is about collaboration in a nurturing and nonjudgmental environment where individuals can meet their goals and restore balance in their lives. Carma empowers her clients to take charge of their own personal growth within a trusting therapeutic relationship. Recognizing that each person has unique emotional challenges and perspectives, she emphasizes the importance of present-moment experiences to facilitate self-exploration and understanding. In our fast-paced society, she provides the right tools to help clients regain control and achieve harmony. Carma specializes in various areas, including anxiety, anger management, relationship issues, depression, family conflict, grief and loss, and academic counseling, drawing from her extensive expertise as a Texas Certified School Counselor. With her focused humanistic and cognitive behavioral approaches, both individual and family counseling sessions are available, thoughtfully designed to guide clients toward their center of balance and voice.
