Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) - Cedar Park, TX

Located in Leander, TX, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program at WCCHD is dedicated to enhancing the health of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children through tailored nutrition education and access to nutritious food. Our services include individual nutrition assessments and counseling from Registered Dietitians, engaging nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, and practical resources such as recipes and cooking demonstrations. We also provide healthy supplemental food packages and connect families to essential healthcare services and community resources, including Medicaid and SNAP. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, our WIC services are currently delivered remotely, ensuring that vital support reaches those in need safely and effectively.
