Country Wheels Program

The Country Wheels Program in Leander, TX, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors residing in remote rural areas across seven counties, including Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, and parts of Hays, Lee, Travis, and Williamson. Each week, eligible seniors receive seven nutritious frozen meals, delivered directly to their doorstep to ensure they have reliable access to emergency food when traditional meal routes are not available. Our caring team conducts assessments through supportive case managers to verify eligibility, and we offer short-term services for those in temporary need of meals. While we prioritize the health and safety of our clients and volunteers, modifications to our delivery system have been implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. We remain committed to serving our senior community throughout this challenging time, ensuring that all existing clients continue to receive the support they need.
