At Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Kingwood, TX, we are deeply committed to supporting pregnant women, new mothers, and young children up to age 5 who face nutritional challenges. Our program aims to promote healthy development through essential services including the provision of nutritious foods, comprehensive nutrition education, and support for breastfeeding. We understand that good nutrition is critical, starting from pregnancy, to help children lead healthy, vibrant lives. WIC provides valuable referrals to health and social services to ensure families receive the well-rounded assistance they need. Eligibility for participation can be met through Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP, but we also welcome those who meet our income guidelines. Importantly, U.S. citizenship is not a barrier to access the support we offer. Caregivers of young children are encouraged to enroll and join us in fostering a healthier future for our community. Our centers are easily accessible, open Monday through Friday, and by appointment on Saturdays. We invite you to call us to schedule an appointment and start your journey towards better nutrition.
