Meredith Sims

Meredith Sims is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and licensed professional counselor who specializes in providing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. With expertise in sexual disorders, sexual addictions, and attachment disorders, she is adept at addressing a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Meredith earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University in Central Texas and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at Walden University, where she focuses her research on adult male and female sexual aggression and dysfunctions.

An active member of the Texas Counseling Associations, the Texas School Counselors Associates, and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, Meredith is deeply committed to fostering educational success. She collaborates closely with parents, educators, and students, teaching parenting classes and conducting staff development on critical topics such as bullying, abuse detection and prevention, effective parenting strategies, and navigating challenges like ADHD. Her practice incorporates mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to empower individuals and families to lead fulfilling lives.
