Gina Galloway

Dr. Gina Galloway is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD and LPCS, specializing in counseling for individuals of all ages, including preteens, children aged 6 to 10, toddlers, teens, and adults. With extensive experience in helping clients navigate the challenges of recovery from abuse, trauma, grief, depression, and emotional and behavioral disorders, she employs a diverse range of techniques to encourage exploration and understanding of individual situations. Gina utilizes play therapy when working with children, focusing on their imaginative play to uncover feelings and resolve concerns. This therapeutic approach is particularly effective for anger management, as well as the modification of behavioral disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism. Her expertise also extends to supporting academic and social development, addressing physical and learning disabilities, and managing conduct disorders. Dr. Galloway's clinical background encompasses various settings, including community agencies, a residential treatment center for substance abuse recovery, a university counseling center, and schools spanning from head start to high school. Additionally, Gina has shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor in the counseling program at the University of North Texas.
