Nici Richardson McFarland, a Licensed Professional Counselor, deeply understands the complexities of grief and the journey to healing. After six years of compassionate service as a chaplain in a trauma level one hospital, she founded Crown of Hope Counseling, driven by the desire to support individuals in navigating grief long after the immediate aftermath of loss. Nici believes that grief is a lifelong journey, not a finite event, and she passionately walks alongside her clients in their healing process. Her approach to grief support is uniquely tailored, recognizing that everyone’s experience of grief is different and requires individualized attention. Nici utilizes various therapeutic modalities, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and an Integrative approach combined with a biblical worldview. Through her practice, Nici provides a sacred and safe space for clients to be heard and expressed, allowing them to honor the legacy of their loved ones and to navigate their heartache with creative and meaningful pathways.
