Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Granbury, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, postpartum mothers, breastfeeding mothers, and infants and children at nutritional risk. Our mission is to empower families with the knowledge and resources they need for a healthy start, providing personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and access to nutritious foods each month. WIC clients receive individual nutrition counseling and engaging classes tailored for adults and children, while also gaining valuable support for breastfeeding, including the provision of breast pumps at no cost. Additionally, WIC assists families in securing benefits to purchase wholesome foods like iron-fortified formulas, cereals, milk, and fresh fruits and vegetables at local grocery stores. We invite eligible families, whether they are guardians or parents of children under five years old, to apply and join our community. WIC welcomes all those who meet our income guidelines and nutritional risk assessment; applications are accepted in person at our Granbury location, and appointments can be scheduled in advance. Together, we strive to build healthier futures for our children.
