At the Women, Infant & Children (WIC) Program - Far South Clinic in Georgetown, TX, we are dedicated to promoting healthy eating and well-being for low-income pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and children from birth to age five. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance, nutrition education, and vital breastfeeding support to empower families. Through our program, participants receive supplemental foods tailored to their nutritional needs, personalized one-on-one counseling, and referrals to health care resources. We strive to make healthy foods accessible and to foster healthy habits that benefit mothers and their children. Eligibility for our services includes families already receiving Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF, as well as those who meet our income guidelines.
