Country Wheels Program

The Country Wheels Program, based in Georgetown, TX, is dedicated to serving seniors in remote rural areas who are in need of food assistance. Each week, we provide seven frozen meals to eligible seniors across seven counties, including Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, the I-35 corridor, and The Village of Bear Creek, as well as Hays, Lee, NE and SE Travis, and Williamson Counties. Our caring team, including supportive case managers, conducts thorough assessments to ensure that each applicant meets the eligibility requirements and can benefit from this essential service. We recognize that some seniors may have temporary meal needs, and we offer short-term assistance to accommodate this. While we have paused intake for new clients due to COVID-19 concerns, existing clients continue to receive their meals with modified delivery methods to prioritize safety and health.
