Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) located in Garland, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of mothers, infants, and young children who are at risk for nutrition-related illnesses. Participants receive monthly benefits to purchase nutritious foods like iron-fortified infant formula, fresh fruits, vegetables, and other essential items that support a balanced diet. Committed to improving the welfare of families, WIC also connects clients with additional health and social services to further support their needs. To qualify, participants must be pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding women, as well as parents or guardians of children under five, meeting specific income and nutritional guidelines.
