A Sister's Gift in Garland, TX, is dedicated to providing essential support to women and girls affected by HIV/AIDS, along with their families. Our mission revolves around promoting awareness, education, and advocacy in the community while fostering leadership among those impacted. We offer a wide range of services, including food assistance, hygiene care packages, and grocery support specifically for women with children, alongside essential resources like bus passes and referral counseling. Our program also facilitates monthly group support sessions and emergency rent and utility assistance for participants who engage in group activities. For immediate needs, we encourage individuals to connect with their case managers, who can guide them through the process of receiving support. Although we operate by appointment only, our commitment to providing peer support remains unwavering, as we also offer telephone referral counseling for men.
