Jacque Timberlake

Jacque Timberlake, who prefers to be called Jay, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive qualifications including a bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Webster University. Currently, Jay is pursuing a doctorate in Forensic Psychology at Walden University. Since beginning their counseling career in 2018, Jay has worked with clients of all ages in diverse settings such as private practices, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and correctional facilities. This rich experience has equipped Jay with a unique capacity to provide empathetic and supportive counseling services tailored to various populations. Focusing on issues such as depression, trauma and PTSD, and anxiety, Jay employs an eclectic and person-centered therapeutic approach, alongside techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. In their practice, Jay fosters an inclusive and non-judgmental environment where individuals—including children and adolescents—can process their thoughts and emotions. By guiding clients through the challenges of mental health, Jay is dedicated to eliciting positive change, setting achievable goals, and supporting lifelong success.
