Allison Moore

Allison Moore is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping children between the ages of 6 to 10, particularly those who are facing high anxiety, sadness, anger, trauma, or significant life changes. She utilizes play therapy to foster children's self-understanding and emotional expression, encouraging responsibility for their choices and promoting a healthy sense of self. Allison recognizes the crucial role parents play in the therapeutic process, which is why she incorporates Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) to equip parents with the essential tools needed to strengthen their relationships with their children and themselves. With a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas, Allison has honed her expertise in play therapy and school counseling. Throughout her extensive experience, she has successfully supported children dealing with severe anger, family adjustments, abuse, anxiety, grief, and school-related challenges.
