Mary Bennett

Mary Bennett is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor based in the DFW area, passionate about supporting a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, families, couples, and adults. She employs an array of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), integrating mindfulness and radical acceptance to tailor her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. By adopting a person-centered philosophy, Mary is committed to guiding her clients from their current situations toward their desired goals without judgment or pressure. After earning her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas, she provided valuable care as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern for individuals grappling with addiction. Mary further established and directed an Intensive Outpatient Program in a hospital before transitioning to private practice. Originally from Mississippi, she now thrives in Fort Worth, Texas, where she enjoys family life with her husband and young daughter. Outside of her practice, Mary delights in savoring the local cuisine, particularly Mexican food, expanding her shoe collection, and rediscovering the world through her daughter's eyes.
