Kaila Bellinghausen is an LPC Associate under the supervision of Courtney Guhl, LPC-S and RPT-S. With extensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, she is actively pursuing her credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. Kaila’s counseling approach emphasizes individualized treatment tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client. Her professional experience spans working with children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges such as sexual abuse, traumatic grief, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and human trafficking. She believes in providing a nurturing space where clients can express their pain, whether through verbal communication or play. By integrating creativity and artistic expression into therapy, Kaila seeks to engage clients in hands-on experiences that facilitate skill development.
