Jasmine Trotter is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor Associate dedicated to fostering a collaborative therapeutic experience. She encourages her clients to actively participate in their counseling journey, seeing it as a shared exploration of self-discovery, growth, and healing. Jasmine strives to cultivate a warm and safe environment that nurtures authenticity, vulnerability, and empowerment. As a guide, she acknowledges that her clients are the true experts of their own stories and looks forward to working with them to enhance self-awareness, communication, and understanding of the world around them. Her specialties encompass young adults, couples, grief, life transitions, and general anxiety. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, Jasmine employs a client-centered methodology, integrating Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to tailor her approach to meet each client's unique needs. Understanding that the therapeutic process can be intimidating, she offers an initial free 20-minute phone consultation to determine compatibility. She believes that while growth and healing can be challenging, having the right support can make the journey more manageable. Currently, Jasmine provides only virtual therapy sessions.
