Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Fort Worth, TX, is dedicated to empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and skills needed to make healthier food choices on a limited budget. Through engaging classes focused on nutrition education, food safety, and practical cooking techniques, we help participants learn how to shop wisely, prepare simple meals, and enhance their physical activity. Our lessons are designed to be accessible and are offered in both English and Spanish, ensuring that everyone in the community can benefit from our resources. We welcome groups of at least 10 individuals to foster a collaborative learning environment and reach various populations across Nueces, Bexar, Cameron, Dallas, El Paso, Harris, Hidalgo, Tarrant, Travis, Webb, and Willacy counties.
