Basic Needs Assistance

Basic Needs Assistance is dedicated to alleviating hunger and supporting individuals in need throughout Fort Worth, TX, and Northwest Tarrant County. We offer vital food assistance and essential personal care items at no cost through our food pantry, with additional service options including food pantry delivery for homebound individuals. Our compassionate team provides on-site support for food stamps, Medicaid, and Medicare, along with services like ID recovery, credit repair, and mental health counseling for individuals and families. We empower veterans and assist with housing stability through case management, housing counseling, and employment services. Additionally, we provide childcare assistance during job searches and transportation to access crucial services, including rental and utility payment support through the Texas Rent Relief Program. While appointments are preferred, they are not required, and we have temporarily waived zip code restrictions to help more people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
