Rachel Sims, a licensed professional counselor, specializes in helping couples and families navigate the complexities of their relationships. She understands the exhaustion, insecurity, hopelessness, and resentment that can arise when partners find themselves caught in a vicious cycle. Whether facing challenges in communication, connecting with each other, or dealing with situations involving unfaithfulness, work overload, or blended households, Rachel is committed to guiding her clients towards healing and understanding. She recognizes the emotional toll that attachment wounds can take on couples and their growth, and she admires their courage in seeking help. With a passion for working with couples, families, parent-child dyads, and issues related to divorce and remarriage, Rachel brings rich experience in addressing high-conflict situations and diverse backgrounds. Having completed her doctoral internship at UTSW Medical Center, she has received extensive training in couples and family therapy, equipping her with the tools to inspire positive change in her clients' lives.
