Lynn Ball, an LPC associate supervised by Kim Powell, understands that change can be a joyful yet painful and confusing mix of experiences. She recognizes that change can pave the way for new beginnings while often leaving individuals feeling lost. Acknowledging that change is an inevitable part of life, as certain as death and equally unpredictable, Lynn offers compassionate support to those navigating these transitions. Whether exploring gender identity or sexuality, grappling with racial identity and white privilege, or experiencing the natural ebb and flow of life, clients seeking support from Lynn are met with understanding and empathy. Utilizing a person-centered, intersectional feminist, and trauma-informed approach, she collaborates with clients to examine how their environments and cultures shape their identities and desired changes. Lynn strives to minimize gatekeeping in the therapeutic process by providing HRT and surgery letters for those pursuing transition treatments. As a white, fat, queer therapist, her unique perspectives and lived experiences empower her to connect with clients who have faced oppression.
