Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) in Flower Mound, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children at risk of nutrition-related issues. Our mission is to educate and support families with essential resources to make informed dietary choices for their children. We offer individualized nutrition counseling, engaging nutrition classes, and specialized support for breastfeeding mothers, including access to free breast pumps. Each month, WIC provides food benefits that can be redeemed at local grocery stores for nutritious items such as iron-fortified infant formula, fresh fruits and vegetables, and dairy products. Additionally, our program connects families with vital health and social services. Eligibility for WIC includes pregnant and postpartum women, as well as parents of infants and children under five. We warmly invite eligible families to apply for our services in person at the Flower Mound clinic, where every step is taken to ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all families.
