The Salvation Army Denton, located in Flower Mound, TX, is committed to providing essential emergency food assistance and shelter services to individuals facing homelessness and food insecurity in Denton County. Open 365 days a year, our emergency night shelter welcomes guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., while our KARE Kitchen serves free meals to the community twice daily at 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. We operate a food pantry for local residents in need on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., ensuring continuous support to those requiring extra help. Beyond our immediate services, we also foster a sense of community through a variety of programs including youth and senior activities, worship services, and seasonal initiatives like summer camps and Christmas assistance.
