Diabetes Self-Management

Located in El Paso, TX, Diabetes Self-Management is dedicated to empowering individuals with diabetes through vital education and resources aimed at enhancing their quality of life. Our comprehensive program includes eight group sessions for those who are uninsured and ten personalized one-on-one sessions available for insured participants. Over six weeks, attendees benefit from in-depth learning about understanding the human body, diabetes risk factors, nutrition, diabetes complications, and effective self-monitoring. To support our commitment, every participant who completes the course receives a free glucose meter, equipping them with essential tools for effective diabetes management. Classes are conveniently held at both the Central Administration Building and local clinics, ensuring that those at risk or currently living with diabetes can access the care and knowledge they need to thrive.
