Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

Located in Eagle Pass, TX, the Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) plays a vital role in enhancing the health and nutrition of infants, children, and at-risk pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. Our dedicated team prioritizes the education of mothers on proper nutrition to support healthy growth and development. We offer a range of services, including personalized nutrition counseling, enriching classes for mothers and children, and comprehensive breastfeeding support, complete with access to free breast pumps. Each month, WIC provides eligible families with nutritious food benefits, encompassing iron-fortified infant formula, cereals, vitamin C-rich juices, dairy products, beans, and peanut butter. We also connect clients to essential health and social services. Our program serves pregnant women, nursing mothers, recent mothers, and caretakers of children under five, focusing on those whose household incomes are at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.
