Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Eagle Pass, TX, is dedicated to improving the health and nutrition of at-risk families, including pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children under five. By offering comprehensive nutrition education, WIC empowers mothers with knowledge about proper nutrition for their children and themselves. Our program provides individualized nutrition counseling, informative classes, and essential breastfeeding support, including access to breast pumps at no cost. Each month, eligible clients can receive benefits to purchase nutritious foods such as iron-fortified infant formula, cereals, milk, eggs, and more at local grocery stores. WIC also connects families to vital health and social services, ensuring they have the comprehensive support they need. To qualify, applicants must meet income guidelines and undergo an initial health screening at our clinic. We welcome all eligible families in the Eagle Pass area to apply and take advantage of our supportive resources.
