Nicci Staggs, a dedicated LPC Intern with an M.S. and M.Ed., is passionate about supporting youth through the myriad challenges they face today. As an experienced educator and Certified School Counselor, she has observed firsthand the struggles that children and adolescents encounter, from anxiety and depression to the effects of trauma and domestic violence. Nicci's focus is on creating a positive therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. She skillfully integrates art and play into her sessions, especially for younger clients, promoting self-expression as a vital aspect of healing. Drawing from theoretical approaches such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Nicci aims to enhance the physical, social, and emotional well-being of all her clients.
