MOVE! Weight Management Program

Based in Desoto, TX, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and has access to tailored weight management services. Participants can choose from a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app, along with medical interventions like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who continue to face challenges.
