Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Del Rio, TX, is dedicated to nurturing a just and sustainable food system through hands-on education and community engagement. This transformative program empowers Fellows to become informed advocates by offering a tuition-free, six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Participants learn about organic agriculture, ecological practices, and food literacy, while collaborating with local partners to cultivate diverse crops, manage community gardens, and enhance access to healthy foods. Through experiential learning, Fellows also develop vital skills in supporting farmers markets and leading educational initiatives that promote food security and community health. Following their training, they embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profits to apply their knowledge and inspire change within their communities.
