Delta Shuman

Delta Shuman, a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializes in trauma recovery and has adopted the therapeutic model of trauma recovery from Pia Mellody at The Meadows. Through her extensive training, she has seen firsthand how the Model of Developmental Immaturity effectively addresses various forms of developmental trauma. Delta is skilled in Post Induction Therapy (PIT), focusing on inner child work and feelings reduction to navigate developmental immaturity. She has participated in specialized training with Dr. Ken Adams, concentrating on parent and adult child enmeshment issues. Delta's expertise spans developmental trauma, partner betrayal trauma, and couple’s reintegration therapy, particularly following issues related to sex addiction or problematic sexual behaviors. Her trauma resolution techniques include brainspotting and EMDR, which she utilizes to ensure the best care for her clients. Delta provides individual and couples psychotherapy as well as coaching for adults. She firmly believes in the possibility of recovery from trauma and knows that those affected can lead fulfilling lives. With a commitment to meeting her clients where they are, she collaborates to develop a roadmap for their recovery, facilitating a healing relationship as they embark on their journey toward comprehensive healing.
