Paul Martinez, LPC-Associate, is a compassionate therapist who believes that every individual has the innate capability to overcome and navigate life's challenges. With rich experience in addressing a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, LGBTQ+ concerns, and grief and loss, Paul is dedicated to supporting both adolescents and adults. His personal journey as someone with a vision impairment provides him with a unique understanding of the diverse needs and accommodations that facilitate a life of equality and independence. Paul adopts a Humanistic approach, characterized by empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, fostering strong therapeutic relationships to assist clients in achieving their counseling goals. Utilizing an integrative methodology that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing, Paul is committed to promoting healing and growth in his clients.
