Meals on Wheels North Central Texas proudly serves Cleburne and the surrounding areas by delivering over 1,000 nutritious meals each day to seniors and homebound adults across 3,401 square miles in Johnson, Ellis, Navarro, Somervell, and Hood counties. Recognizing that nearly half of our clients live alone, we stand as a vital advocate for those facing food insecurity, health challenges, and loneliness. Our friendly visits provide essential social interaction, greatly contributing to our clients' emotional well-being, in addition to the physical nourishment they receive. In addition to meal delivery, we offer regular wellness checks, nutritional education, and support for clients and their families. Our AniMeals program ensures that beloved pets are also cared for, and we provide nutritional supplements at cost. Our mission is to empower seniors and disabled adults to maintain their independence while remaining self-sufficient in their homes. Joining our program is simple; prospective clients can easily reach out to our office for a brief questionnaire over the phone, and while meals are provided at no cost, voluntary contributions are encouraged to sustain our vital services.
