Lauren Gage, a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC), is dedicated to helping clients navigate the challenges that affect their behaviors and relationships. With four years of experience, she provides invaluable support during times of transition. Lauren skillfully explores clients' attachment styles and their perceptions of the world and relationships, working collaboratively to establish goals and create plans for meaningful change. As an ally to individuals in non-traditional relationships, she addresses concerns surrounding non-monogamy and polyamory, offering a compassionate approach to complex topics. Her expertise also encompasses aiding clients through depression, anxiety, and trauma recovery. A graduate of St. Edward’s University with a MA in Counseling in 2010 and a MA in General Psychology from North Central University in 2015, Lauren brings a wealth of experience to her practice, having worked with adolescents and adults in various capacities, including career counseling, academic coaching, and support groups for grief and divorce. She employs an integrative therapeutic approach, tailoring interventions to the unique needs of each client. Utilizing modalities such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Lauren fosters a judgment-free space where clients can engage deeply with challenging issues related to grief and sexuality.
